The Full Story

Snoli USA was founded in 2025 by longtime friends and ski racing veterans Todd Herilla and Erik Schlopy. Todd and Erik’s connection goes back to 1988, when they met as students at Burke Mountain Academy, a school renowned for developing elite ski racers. Erik went on to compete on the FIS World Cup circuit for 18 years, representing the U.S. Ski Team in three Olympic Games. Meanwhile, Todd built a thriving business with 7EVEN Skis, specializing in ski tuning and custom skis. Together, they bring over 75 years of combined experience in the ski racing world.

The idea for Snoli USA came about almost by chance. While helping his son, Spider, tune his skis at a camp, Erik borrowed a Snoli file from another racer. One pull of the file was all it took—he instantly recognized its superior quality. When he returned to Utah, Erik reached out to Todd about ordering Snoli tools. Todd connected with Snoli’s headquarters in Austria, and a new partnership was born.
